What is the Futures Market?
The futures market is a p2p platform that allows players to create and purchase positions on which direction they think the price of any available token will go.
What are Weighted Games?
Weighted Games have a specific outcome set and allow users to purchase positions based on if they agree or dissagree. Once the end date is reached the desired outcome is calculated and all losing positions are equally divided between the winning positions.
What are Fixed Games?
Fixed games are user created and allow players to create their own positions based on a specific outcome. Other players can then purchase positions against your choice of outcome. Once the end date is reached all winning positions are paid double the original fee.
example: UserA creates 10 positions @ 1 ROY each - UserB purchases 10 Positions totaling 10 ROY - Winner receives 19.5 ROY (inc 2.5 percent fees)
What is the Open Market?
The Open Market allows players to create and purchase positions based on the direction of the current active price of any available token. Each matched position will accumilate in value either positively or negatively dependant on the tokens price. Unlike Fixed games, Matched Positions can be closed at anytime and will continue to accumilate in value for a maximum of 100 days which allows players more control over managing profits and minimising losses. Positions that surpass the 100 day period will reach maximum value and occur a 2.5 percent fee, positions closed early will occur a 5 percent fee.
example: UserA creates 100 higher positions @ 1 ROY each - UserB purchases 100 lower positions against UserA - After 100 days the winner can collect 195 ROY (inc 2.5 percent fee)
When you create an Open Position you can specify a ratio in which your position will be available.
example: The tokens current price is $1.00000000 and you think it can possibly go upto $1.50000000, so you set a ratio of 10 percent, this means your positions will be visible to other users between the prices $0.900000 and $1.100000. If the tokens price rises or lowers past those values then users will not see your available positions until they are back inside that range.
